By modernizing obsolete provisions, the proposed rules aim to paint a clearer snapshot of permitted uses and explain next steps in the development process. Presenters detailed the mechanics of the entire system, drawing a line from land-use goals under the comprehensive plan to zoning code property rules. The update to the City’s Zoning Code, led by Camiros Consulting, is currently in the review stage with a new draft set to be rolled out this Fall.
