A Dixon woman who police say was traveling 121 mph on state Route 2 between Oregon and Grand Detour is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Aug. 14 in Ogle County court. She was ticketed when an Ogle County sheriff’s deputy was conducting a “stationary patrol,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Wheeler also was ticketed for improper passing on the left, accused by police of disobeying a double-yellow line, no-passing zone. It was on an Ogle County roadway.
