Nova Scotia RCMP say a break and enter at a poultry barn in the Lunenburg area resulted in the death of thousands of chickens.
Police say they responded to a report of a break and enter Saturday morning in Pine Grove.
Mounties say about 10,000 chickens died after the barn was broken into and the building’s ventilation fans were turned off.
