Columbus man sentenced to 60 years to life for second-degree murderCOLUMBUS, Neb.
(KLKN) — On Sep. of 2025, Jack Reeg was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony and terroristic threats.
According to court documents, Reeg was sentenced after pleading no contest to second-degree murder and one count of use of a firearm to commit a felony.
The judge found him guilty and sentenced him to 60 years to life in prison for the second-degree murder conviction.
Two charges, terroristic threats and an additional firearm charge, were dismissed due to the plea agreement.
