Renato’s Florist has been part of Daffodil Day in Shepparton for all 45 years of the business, with current owners, Leeanne and Glenn Archer, hoping to continue that tradition for years to come. Last year, a partnership between the GV Health Foundation and Renato’s flourished. All proceeds from daffodil sales at the florist on Daffodil Day were donated to the GV Health Foundation, along with pre-wrapped bunches as part of the hospital’s own fundraising push. “I think it’s great to be able to support the Cancer Council but also to target our local people,” Leeanne said. Renato’s Florist will be open its standard hours of 8am to 5pm on Daffodil Day, giving locals plenty of opportunity to grab a bunch and support the cause.
