On May 25, 2025, Timothy Duval Jr., 24, of Tallahassee, Florida, was walking on Ocean View Drive in Wellfleet when he was fatally struck by a vehicle, police said. In a press release July 27, Wellfleet police and the DA’s office asked for anyone with information about Duval’s death to come forward. Multiple vehicles have been examined and search warrants granted by the Court were executed,” officials said in the release.
