(ABC 6 News) – After heavy flooding hit Mower County earlier in July, officials are asking the state for help. This week, the county officially submitted a damage and impact assessment to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. “Within Mower County we had two bridges that were damaged and washed out. They are on county roads so that would qualify. That is ongoing,” said Mower County Sheriff, Steve Sandvik.
