Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley criticized the state of affairs in Washington this week on social media. Haley wrote: “Washington is borrowing $60,000 a second and paying $24 BILLION a week in interest alone. Former Republican Trump critic George Conway — who ran unsuccessfully for Congress as a Democrat in New York this year — replied to Haley: “Interesting. Social media influencer and retired U.S. Navy Captain M.J. Singleton replied to Conway: “Nikki Haley speaks in anonymity whenever it involves this regime.” In 2025, the United States paid $970 billion in interest costs.”
