To mark the 110th anniversary of the Dales Pony Society, whose patron is King Charles, registered ponies known for their sure-footedness and being 'great all rounders' gathered together to take part in a 'President's Ride'. A total of 26 ponies and riders were joined by many followers on foot on a ride around the off-road riding Craven Country Ride in Coniston Cold. The route was planned by The Great All Rounders Team, a breeding and training business for Dales ponies based in Malham. It says: "The Dales Pony is a breed that turns its hoof to any equestrian discipline.
