Bob Stewart, 74, will be cycling the red route of the bike event, hoping to raise money in his boy’s name for Blood Cancer UK.
The challenge was set up by Sir Chris Hoy following his diagnosis with stage four cancer.
“So, two years ago, I came off that chemo tablet, I’ve been on heart tablets, but I'm not on chemo, I'm completely in remission.
A Dunfermline man whose teenage son and mother died of leukaemia, is once again tackling the Chris Hoy Tour De 4 Challenge.
Bob will undertake the red route of the Tour De 4 Challenge on September 6.
