Lighthouse NECTAR extends supportChessore, July 29 (MExN): In a display of unity, sacrifice and community spirit, volunteers from Chessore came together to repair the monsoon-damaged Hukir–Chessore Road and support the timely completion of the Lighthouse NECTAR Project in Chessore Town on July 28. The joint initiative was carried out by Chessore Town Baptist Church, Chessore Town Public Forum, and contractors from Lighthouse NECTAR, stated a DIPR report. Volunteers and workers assembled early in the morning to clear debris, level damaged sections, improve drainage, and carry out temporary patching work along the most affected stretches of the Hukir–Chessore Road. Lighthouse NECTAR contractors generously provided the necessary financial support, technical guidance, tools, and materials required for the repair work. The volunteers Lighthouse NECTAR also took initiative for repairing roads from high school to Town junction, it stated.
