Winsome Earle-Sears is returning to the campaign trail less than a year after voters decisively rejected her bid for governor.

During her only televised debate with Spanberger, the Democrat raised Earle-Sears’ opposition to marriage equality and workplace protections for gay people.
Virginia voters ultimately gave Spanberger 57.6 percent of the vote and Earle-Sears 42.2 percent.
