Hyderabad: The District Registrar, Hyderabad, has written to Bank of Baroda, Jubilee Hills, seeking immediate freezing of the bank accounts of the Jubilee Hills International Centre (JHIC).
The communication from the registration and stamps department followed a complaint by former JHIC president Kothapalli Surendar Reddy and former secretary Kilaru Rajeswara Rao.
The registrar stated that the present executive body of JHIC, as amended in 2024, has been recognised.
The bank was requested not to entertain transactions or instructions from any entity other than the recognised executive body, as conveyed in the letter.
Subsequently, members of the former executive body approached the district registrar, leading to the request for freezing of the organisation’s bank accounts.
