Hyderabad:Trainee IPS officer M. Uday Krishna Reddy, accused of sexually harassing a fellow woman trainee at the SVP National Police Academy, was arrested in Miryalguda and taken into custody by Attapur police on Wednesday. Police said Krishna Reddy, who had been untraceable, was tracked through technical evidence and CCTV footage by five special teams, including Rajendranagar zone task force personnel. Technical evidence was collected and matched with material provided by the complainant, a woman IPS trainee. After completion of paperwork, Krishna Reddy was produced before the Upparpally court and sent to judicial remand. When the media tried to interact with Krishna Reddy, he refused to comment as videographers filmed him entering the police station for questioning.
