Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government is taking up fee revision in the private engineering colleges by constituting a committee with a minimum assured fee of ₹47,000 per seat from the earlier ₹40,000 for the new academic year from August 10. The managements of private engineering colleges have approached the government with a request to revise the fees as the three-years term of the previously fixed fee was over. They claimed that they suffered a lot due to “irrational fixation” of the fees during the YSR Congress period.
