LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Three demonstrators were arrested during Tuesday’s public meeting on the proposed Project Jupiter data center in southern New Mexico. Booking sheets show Orin Parnell, Abegail Salugsagan and Kiki Garden were arrested there during the duration of the meeting. Parnell is accused of interrupting the meeting, leading a commissioner to ask for their removal. Critics of Project Jupiter are concerned about the data center’s environmental impact. Critics vocally opposed Project Jupiter during the meeting.
