Union accuses Leeds Grenville agencies of 'bad faith' Union claims some agencies did not respond to a request for a meeting Photo by John Lawless / The Brockville Recorder and TimeArticle content OPSEU Local 441, the union representing workers at Lanark Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH), Children’s Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville (CMHLG), and the Brockville and Area Community Living Association (BACLA), is accusing two of those agencies of not negotiating in good faith.
On Monday, the union claimed that LLGAMH and BACLA declined the invitation, stating that both agencies have “no interest” in bringing an end to this labour dispute.
“It feels like we are dealing with two different people,” said Magean Plue, LLGAMH bargaining team chair.
According to the union, there has only been one meeting among all three agencies combined since the strike began over two months ago.
CMHLG sat down with the union on June 5 to no avail, and the other two agencies haven’t met at all.
