Dudley Council’s planning committee deferred its ruling on the future of The Woodlands in Wollaston, opting instead to visit the site in person before making a final determination. The plans have raised concerns from residents about parking, traffic, conservation area impact and the long-term use of the site. Councillor Andrew Tromans said: "I am pleased the Planning Committee has agreed to undertake a site visit before reaching a final decision. "When this application returns to committee, I will continue to stand up for Wollaston residents and ensure their concerns are properly represented." The application will return to Dudley Council’s planning committee after the site visit, when a final decision will be made.
