Matchams Lane will be closed between 08:00-18:00 from its junction with Avon Causeway and Bostwick Lane from Wednesday, July 29 to Friday, July 31. The road will be closed to all vehicles with no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading or unloading at any time to facilitate "essential" highway maintenance works by BCP Council. The diversion will be via Christchurch Road, A338 Spur Road, Ringwood Road, Boundary Lane, Hurn Road, Matchams Lane and vice versa. Bournemouth Airport is urging people to allow extra time for their journeys to and from the airport to ensure flights are not missed.
