King Mohammed VI has addressed a Speech to the nation on Wednesday evening on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the Throne wherein he outlined the country’s economic achievements and its future-oriented expectations. I have never sought personal glory, or recognition of a leading role at the continental or international level. Today, stability is the key element in the development equation; it is the strategic asset we cherish in Morocco. Thanks to security, stability, and institutional efficiency, positive indicators are on the rise across sectors, thus boosting economic growth and reinforcing national sovereignty. The process of economic and social transformation requires unprecedented financial resources, the bulk of which must be raised through domestic financing.
