Tennessee picked up its second running back commitment in as many weeks on Wednesday night, landing Asa Barnes. The commitment follows the decision of 5-star running back David Gabriel-Georges, who picked Tennessee over Ohio State. Barnes is a 3-star prospect out of Martin, Tennessee. Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State were just a few of his other offers. Following the commitment, Tennessee ranks 21st in the 2027 class rankings, per 247Sports.
