Sentencing hearings held in local courtSCOTT TRUXELL/independent editorSeven defendants were sentenced on various criminal charges during hearings held in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday. John Snavley, 60, of Van Wert, was sentenced to 180 days jail with credit for 54 days already served for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony. He was also ordered to attend drug court and pay court costs. Eric Orndorff, 43, of Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to non-support of dependents, a fifth degree felony. Tracy is facing pair of burglary charges, one a second degree felony and the other a third degree felony.
