The father and son behind the Unite the Clans rally appeared in court the day before the demonstration for causing “fear and alarm” to children and uttering “threats of violence”. John Hall, 44, and John Hall Jr, 27, attended at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday, following a string of protests outside properties in the city. He is alleged to have used a megaphone to utter threats of violence and derogatory comments outside a home on Sandilands Drive. His dad also appeared in court on Friday, charged with four counts of breach of the peace. The pair appeared in court a day before the Unite the Clans rally.
