Officials say he robbed from several stores across the U.S., including in the Town of Greece. The attorney’s office says Harold Ramirez Cagua, a 42-year-old from Colombia, last living in Miami, robbed mall-based stores and kiosks. Ramirez Cagua and other nationals from Colombia committed the crimes between May 2023 and April 2024, taking the jewelry across state lines. Ramirez Cagua stole from a store back on August 12, 2023, in Greece. Over $4.4 million was stolen throughout the series of burglaries, and none of the stolen jewelry has been recovered, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
