Salem - Laurel A. Gormley, 64, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts, Laurie was the cherished daughter of John L. Gormley and the late Collette Gormley. She graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. Laurie began her career at Bank of Boston in 1984 and went on to enjoy a distinguished career in investment management. Laurie is survived by her devoted father, John L. Gormley of Salem, Massachusetts, and Chevy Chase, Maryland; her loving sister and brother-in-law, Maureen Gormley and Jim Kinkead of Bethesda, Maryland; and her beloved nieces, Alayna and Kayla Kinkead.
