(Photos provided by the Will County Sheriff's Office)A man and woman from Joliet have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a man whose remains were found in Lake Mattoon and a freezer at a residence.
A Will County grand jury returned an indictment with a first-degree murder charge against Robin Turner, 62, and James Adams, 26.
Robin Turner is the husband of Dalewayne Turner, who is the half brother of Adams, according to Will County prosecutors.
An autopsy on July 5 in Kankakee County found Dalewayne Turner suffered “multiple stab wounds,” prosecutors said.
Robin Turner and Adams also are charged with the concealment of the homicidal death of Dalewayne Turner.
