At least one person was injured in a crash involving a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) contractor Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia, officials said. The crash was reported around 10 a.m. near Cottman Avenue. According to PennDOT, the work crew was on site for the I-95 BS2 project when the crash occurred. PennDOT confirmed with NBC10 that "there were injuries," however, officials did not share more information on conditions or who was hurt.
