After claiming that it has seen its lowest serious crime rate since, at least, 2015, earlier this year, SEPTA officials on Wednesday said they have seen continued reductions in serious crimes in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the same time last year. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREHowever, for the second quarter this year, officials noted, SEPTA did see two arsons, 30 robberies and a murder. Still, SEPTA officials said they saw "crime reductions of double-digit percentage points on the [L] Market-Frankford Line, [B] Broad Street Line and buses."
