A Camden man is facing charges after investigators say he used TikTok to contact a 7-year-old girl, sent her sexually explicit videos of himself and asked her to send nude photos in return. The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said 36-year-old Elmer Lao is charged with attempting to manufacture child sex abuse material and endangering the welfare of a child. The prosecutor's office said the investigation began on July 20, 2026. John Cochran of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Crimes Unit said. Investigators said Rookie is one of six electronic sniffing dogs used in these types of investigations.
