Hudson Soft’s Famicom best-seller Doraemon will finally release worldwide this week, courtesy of Japanese retro studio Hamster.
The 1986 game, based on the wildly popular manga by Fujiko Fujio, sold over one million copies in its native Japan, making it among the top-selling Famicom titles the year of its release.
This game’s never been available outside of Japan before, so it should carry particular interest for retro aficionados.
It’ll be available on the PS5 from tomorrow, 30th July, as part of the Console Archives lineup.
As someone who owns a couple of dual-language Doraemon comics, I might give this a go at some point.
