Iran to get up to 400 Chinese shoulder-launched missile systems as it tries to rearm
[]

Iran is set to receive up to 400 Chinese MANPADS, including the QW-12 & FN-16 systems, under a $60–70 million deal aimed at rebuilding its short-range air defences amid the war with US & Israel.
Iran has its own MANPADS called Misagh which is an Iranian version of Chinese QW-2, a old version of QW-12.
With these missiles, Iran would be able to counter cruise missiles, helicopters, drones and low flying fighter jets.
The contract covers the purchase of between 300 and 400 man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS), including Chinese-made QW-12 and FN-16 missiles, the sources said.
