According to Smith, the calls may be from a blocked number and the scammers may include the name Deputy White. The caller, claiming to be Deputy Ryan Lange, is using phone number 406-396-1228. Smith said Missoula County Sheriff's Office deputies, Jail staff, and civilian staff will NOT call you and DEMAND money.
