A temporary suspension has been put in place on the waterway as temperatures have left conditions dangerous for fish in the area. In an announcement shared by Brecon Town Council, it was announced that the suspension had been enforced due to the high water temperatures. A spokesperson for Brecon Town Council said: “Due to the current high water temperatures, fishing is temporarily suspended to help protect our fish. “When fishing is permitted again, please remember to carry a thermometer and check the water temperature regularly – it can change throughout the day. “There should be no salmon or trout fishing when the water temperature exceeds 20.0°C.
