The facility at Stanborough Lakes, known as Verti-GO! Adventures, offered climbers of all ages the chance to tackle high platform obstacles, zip‑wires and trapeze walks above the water and woodlands. A council spokesperson said: "The operator of our high ropes climbing facility at Stanborough Lakes, trading as Verti-GO! The rest of Stanborough Lakes, including the park and other amenities, remains open to visitors. High Ropes opened in 2016 and was said to be “one of the largest and most challenging free-standing courses in the country” at the time.
