15th Judicial Circuit Judge Josh Taylor announced that Lafayette County is the recipient of grant funding for a new program designed to assist families in obtaining legal services. This grant is designed to provide funding for quality legal representation services to vulnerable families and children. Lafayette County is partnering with Legal Services of Western Missouri (Legal Aid) for provision of legal services. Legal Aid serves low-income clients in a 40-county area. Judge Russell Kruse, who oversees the Juvenile Court docket in Lafayette County, was key in obtaining this grant funding.
