And heavy rain and downpours were definitely widespread Wednesday, with high rainfall amounts and flood reports reaching the First Alert Weather Center. Last 24 hours (Gunnar Consol)Since the rain began late Tuesday, impressive rainfall totals have been reported across the region. Meanwhile, the rainfall totals of greatest concern — in excess of 6 inches — fell in the Albany area.
