Time is running out for Bay Area artisans hoping to participate in the Sonoma Community Center’s 14th annual Winter Art Market. According to the Sonoma Index-Tribune, the deadline to apply for the juried December event is July 31, with no upfront cost for artists to enter. Around 60 creators will be chosen to showcase everything from ceramics to jewelry during the three-day marketplace, which draws over 1,000 shoppers each year. Proceeds from the December 4 through 6 event will help fund the community center’s year-round cultural programs. Local artists can find application details and submit their work online at SonomaCommunityCenter.org.
