It happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday on South New Road near Creek Bridge in Absecon. Police say a tractor-trailer struck a guardrail, then traveled into a wooded area, where it became deeply embedded in the woods. The road remained closed for five hours while crews removed the tractor-trailer from the woods. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact police.
