A house caught fire in Brighton Wednesday. At approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday, the Brighton Fire Department was paged to a structure fire in a two-story yellow house on the corner of Harrison and Madison Street. While crews attended to the blaze, a one-block radius was set up by emergency crews to allow the team to work. The Brighton Fire Department was assisted by fire departments from Ainsworth, Richland, Wayland, and Washington. Also at the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Washington County Ambulance.
