U.S. Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) on July 23 sponsored legislation that would allow general contributions for foster children to Trump Accounts, which are tax-advantaged investment accounts for U.S. children under age 18 that are structured like traditional individual retirement accounts. “The American Dream belongs to every child, including — and especially — our foster youth,” Rep. Moore said. “This bill will provide the opportunity for states and philanthropic organizations to directly impact foster youth well into their future.” Rep.
