Lockton, an independent insurance broker, has announced the launch of its global Data Centres & Digital Infrastructure Practice, a consultative practice helping organisations navigate the risks associated with the infrastructure that stores, processes, and moves information.
The practice further builds on Lockton’s experience in supporting complex digital infrastructure risks globally, including hyperscale campuses, multi-building developments, phased construction programs, operational portfolios, and power-related infrastructure.
James Nelson will lead the Data Centres & Digital Infrastructure Practice in the US and Sam Baker in the UK, both partnering with Lockton leaders globally to drive the overarching strategy.
Baker has been at Lockton for 13 years advising on innovative insurance solutions for clients throughout the world.
“The global data centre and digital infrastructure market is evolving at extraordinary speed,” said Chris Brown, CEO of Lockton International.
