(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA : A total of 113 Rohingya refugees were relocated to three states yesterday after being temporarily housed at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters since Monday. Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said 66 refugees were transferred to destinations in Kuala Lumpur, 29 were transferred to Selangor, and 18 to Penang. In a statement, he said the refugees were relocated between 2pm and 4pm to locations identified by NGOs and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Fadil had said yesterday the 126 Rohingya refugees detained after camping outside the UNHCR office at Jalan Bukit Petaling in Kuala Lumpur were valid UNHCR cardholders.
