(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA : A suspended police officer is believed to have headed a drug trafficking syndicate supplying methamphetamine to local and international markets. “Checks found that the suspended police officer had a previous record related to a drug offence,” he told reporters at the Cheras police headquarters. It stored the drugs in terrace houses around the Klang Valley before distributing them to local and overseas markets. All the suspects have been remanded until Friday to assist in the investigation into drug trafficking under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
