Amirudin said some data centres needed to be located near supporting infrastructure such as hospitals because of technical and operational requirements.
It was previously reported that Sungai Buloh MP R Ramanan would bring the concerns raised by residents over the Kota Damansara data centre before the Cabinet.
He said information from the Social Security Organisation and Selangor labour department could help determine suitable interventions for the affected workers.
