At the same time, the Government advanced to the third reading a Bill establishing the National Human Rights and Equality Commission. In a reaction, the Nationalist Party said it welcomed the legal notice establishing White Rocks as a national park, but insists on a clear definition of what constitutes a national park. The Maltese and Gozitan people must be guaranteed that they will be able to enjoy, whenever they wish and free of charge, every area the Prime Minister promised would become a national park. Therefore, while welcoming the legal notice issued by the Government declaring White Rocks a national park, the PN insists, as it has done from the outset, that there must be a clear definition of what constitutes a national park.
