Sonora, CA – The Dove Fire containment jumped overnight from 40 percent to 55 percent this morning. CAL FIRE reports that firefighters took advantage of cooler temperatures overnight and were able to increase containment. Additionally, damaged utilities are being repaired, and inspections are in progress. McKibbon Drive, Martha Lane, and Outlook Drive, in addition to the residences and businesses on the north side of Stockton Road east of Nancy Hope, are no longer under evacuation warnings. Deputies will continue to patrol areas under evacuation orders throughout the night.
