CUMBERLAND GAP, Tenn. — Cumberland Gap FolkFest weekend will begin with a special evening gathering as Guardians of the Gap presents the FolkFest Appalachian Supper on Friday, August 7, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the heart of Cumberland Gap. The FolkFest Appalachian Supper will feature hearty, home-cooked flavors and a true taste of the mountains, thoughtfully presented as an upscale Appalachian meal. Proceeds from the supper will support Cumberland Gap and the Guardians of the Gap, helping keep the Saturday festival free and accessible while celebrating Appalachian arts, music, stories, craftsmanship, and heritage. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early and make plans to enjoy a full FolkFest weekend in Cumberland Gap, beginning with Friday evening’s Appalachian Supper and continuing with the free public festival on Saturday, August 8. Tickets and additional event information are available through the Town of Cumberland Gap event listing and on Facebook.
