Brownell was providing color commentary on the broadcast, as he allowed his assistant coaches to coach the game. Because it was an exhibition game, Clemson was awarded the victory. Thompson led Clemson with eight rebounds, while Thomas and Davidson each added five. Clemson played without Zac Foster, Ace Buckner, Carter Welling and Dylan Faulkner who are all out due to injury.
