Saturday is looking like a bad day for wildfire starts. The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch. The L-C Valley is listed as getting some of the highest wind speeds in the Inland Northwest. The current prediction shows afternoon and evening winds sustained out of the west around 30 miles per hour and gusting to 48 miles per hour locally. The expected high temperature downtown is 96 degrees with 17% humidity.
