Fleets are set to more than then double their adoption of used vans within the next three years, according to new research. The 2026 Arval Fleet and Mobility Observatory shows while 15% report they are operating used vans today, 39% say that they plan to add more with three years. John Peters, Head of Arval Mobility Observatory in the UK, said: “While van fleets have been slower than their car counterparts to adopt used vehicles – 53% of car fleets currently operate preowned – the gap is quickly narrowing. “What may well be happening is that the smallest fleets are buying used because it is cheaper, and larger fleets because it is convenient for certain use cases.” All companies Small companies Medium companies Large companies Consider using in the next three years 27% 28% 31% 75% Already using 53% 50% 57% 56%For more of the latest industry news, click here.
